New...My Special Collections
I am so excited to finally introduce you to a project that has been in the works for months. My husband’s profession is in special collections. For those that don’t quite know what that is; he archives old books, pictures, and documents. Yes, he loves his job! It also means that we have a great love for books in our family. I have been thinking of ways that I can capture this love along with my children’s curiosity, childhood, and special moments. With an idea from a friend I have started my own special collections. These are concept shoots that I am doing with my kids through children’s books. I am making collages/story boards of pictures with them and in the end am going to make an album! EEEE! It is so exciting. To introduce the concept we did this shoot and I fell even more in love! Let me know what you guys think. Also, I would love to hear what your favorite children's book as a kid was or a favorite you read to your kids now.

AWesome! Anything with books makes me a huge fan :) Loved the pages in the background. I've seen something similar with sheet music before but hadn't considered pages from books! How fun! Your kids are adorable :) Can't wait to see your other concepts!
